NYR

NYR
The National Year of Reading (NYR) is a year-long celebration of reading, in all its forms. It aims to help build a greater national passion for reading in England - for children, families and adult learners alike.

To celebrate National Year of Reading, Literature Northants and Northamptonshire Libraries and Information Service are working on a number of exciting projects and activities.  Keep checking this webpage for all the lastest information.  For more information on NYR in Northamptonshire, contact Tricia Adams: paadams@northamptonshire.gov.uk.

A Book for Northamptonshire
As part of our NYR celebrations we will be asking the public to help us chose a book for Northamptonshire.  Later in the year we will be encouraging as many people as possible to read the book we select from nominations.  Please let us know your favourite book or a book you think other people would enjoy and we will add it to our list.

To vote for your favorite book contact Caroline Bates (cabates@northamptonshire.gov.uk).
